ABOUT MATTHEW V. FERDON, ESQ.

Matthew V. Ferdon is the principal in the Law Office of Matthew V. Ferdon, PLLC. Matthew practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Asset Protection, Medicaid Applications, and Probate & Estate Administration. Matthew is admitted to practice law in New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, and belongs to the Elder Law and Estate Planning, Surrogate’s Court Section and the Trusts and Estates Section.

 

Matthew received his Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Journal of International Business and Law and as Vice President of the Hofstra Business Law Society. As an undergraduate, he received a dual degree in Political Science and History from the State University of New York at Albany.

 

After being admitted to the New York State Bar in 2013, Matthew worked for law firms, both large and small, but always with an eye toward providing his clients with the highest level of service. Prior to attending law school, Matthew served as a legislative aide for a prominent member of the New York State Assembly representing Long Island.

 

In 2021, Matthew opened his own law practice that serves clients across Long Island and the Five Boroughs, as well as Westchester. He has been given the Super Lawyer's Rising Stars distinction for 2019 - 2024, a designation of top-rated practicing attorneys selected through extensive evaluation.

 

Married in 2019, Matthew and his wife have tow young children, Weston and Sienna. When not working or spending time with his family, Matthew is an avid boater and fisherman, exploring all of the waterways that Long Island has to offer.
